7Up Bread (quick recipe!)

7Up Bread.

It's so delicious! Me and my mom sat around this pan of bread, and shamelessly ate a row of it.

Ok, so that wasn't healthy. But, I this recipe is great, and even better, it's sweet! It's almost a breakfast bread.

Here is what you need besides an oven, pan and bowl:

  • 1/4 Cup of butter (usually half a stick)
  • 1/2 Cup 7Up
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • 2 Cups Bisquick Mix

Instructions:

preheat oven to 450 degrees (um, does anyone know where the degree symbol is on a PC?)

Melt butter and mix ingredients and spread in pan. (mine was 9x9x11) spread the dough as far as you can.  (It will be really thin, but don't worry, it fluffs up like you wouldn't believe!)

Optional: you can use extra butter and just run it over the top of the bread to give the crust and extra flavor oomph.

The recipe that was given to me didn't have a time. It ended up being around....15 minutes? Start with seven minutes and go from there. Sorry for the vague time, I just went minutes my minutes and checked on it.

Either way, this bread is delicious! Now, if you use Bisquick for pancakes, the bread at first will taste like pancakes, but eventually that flavor seems to fade and it just tastes fabulous!

You could do so many things with this recipe. You could use it with jam, or spread for breakfast....you could use it with soup....anything!
